Gabriella Wilson

Gabriella is a Ph.D. candidate in the Composition and Cultural Rhetoric program at Syracuse University and has over five years of interdisciplinary, writing-focused teaching experience. She has taught Composition and Technical Writing courses at state universities and community colleges with diverse student populations. Additionally, she has taught introductory writing courses and introductory courses in the Women and Gender Studies department at Syracuse University. Gabby's research interests frequently coincide with her teaching praxis, including disability studies, feminist pedagogy, transnational feminist rhetorics, rhetorics of care, writing studies, and disability and accessibility in higher education. While her interests span a range of diverse topics, a common undercurrent of Gabby's work involves exploring and constructing spaces that disrupt the privileging of ableist assumptions. Gabby is eager to create accessible and equitable academic spaces for students and contribute research supporting disability justice and feminist aims.
